In September 2015, Lineapelle had 1,172 companies from more than 44 countries, and the February 2015 edition hosted 1,086 exhibitors from 43 countries. Both received roughly 20,000 visitors. Launched in 1981, it became one of the most qualified international expos for the leather industry, and also presents synthetic leather, components and accessories. The event is held twice a year: in February it presents the summer collections and in September, the winter collections.
